I remember before Emeril and I both left Food Network (HA, that'll show you FN!) that his show was in Chelsea Market; so amazing. It would definitely be on my list of must sees next trip to NYC.
I actually went there when I went to Emeril's show. Almost 4 years ago now. That place is amazing. Must go soon!! No excuses..
Some people have all the luck!!! Although on second thought, it's just as well I don't live close to this market otherwise I might just move in.....
I do envy the fact you live in a city with such great markets and food - I WANT A FOOD TOUR SOMEDAY!!!
Looks like fun!
The Manhattan Fruit Exchange is one of the best deals in the city (especially for spices), hands-down. And Buon Italia may not be as fancy as Eataly, but I love browsing there all the same.
The rest I can take or leave (I like the wine store but not having to the bottles back over 100 blocks), but I always make a point to bring my friends who love the Food Network there to visit because I know they'd get a kick out of it.
you know I've never been to that market? Will you take me with you next time you go?
Oh I miss NY! Thanks for sharing these pictures. They are lovely. And now I think I may need to grab some artichokes soon...
Gorgy Shots!!! One of my favorite food spots in NYC. Lovely to lunch with Chris. Hope to meet you one of these days!
Oh I love NY. I want to go here so badly! Beautiful pics you two!
I am planning a culinary tour of NYC in the Spring - I live not far from NYC, yet never go....why I ask myself...especially when I read/see posts like this one. THANKS!! It's now on "the list".
I definitely agree. I was in NYC for over a year and only made it to the Chelsea Market at the end of my stay...if only I knew what I'd been missing! I also recommend visitors go to Union Square to see the Green Market and step inside what might be the craziest Whole Foods on the planet.
Are those snails? I love snails!!! All of this looks incredible and now I have another reason to make another trip down to visit.
gorgeous pictures.
The Lobster Place is my favorite seafood restaurant in the Chelsea Market.
